Some frequently asked questions from candidates who give NEET

NEET – Exam Pattern

The NEET Exam is a 3 hour, offline, paper-pen based exam. The maximum score possible is 720 points. The exam is divided into three main sections – Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. A total of 180 questions are available each carrying 4 marks. Wrong answers take 1 mark off of your score. The chemistry and physics sections have 45 questions each, while the biology section has 90. The language of the exam is provided in English as well as the language of the region. The questions are based on India’s 11th and 12th Syllabus.

NEET 2020 – Paper Analysis

NEET-2020 was again conducted by NTA. This time all the questions were NCERT based. The overall difficulty was moderate: physics was again the toughest section because of the direct, and formulae-based questions. On the other hand, the chemistry section was lengthy but easy. Because of the calculations, there was an equal number of questions from physical, inorganic, and organic chemistry. The biology was elementary, and the questions were taken directly from the NCERT syllabus.
