    hey guys,

do I need to study kinetic theory of gases, partial pressure, real gases and things related to these topics? In the syllabus only the ideal gas laws are written so I am confused.

I think for physics KTG is important. For other topics there is no direct questions but they are related to both physics and chemistry. Ideal gas laws are interconnected to both.

You are not expected to know how to calculate real gas law for the IMAT, only ideal gases.

It’s not really possible without a calculator and usually the questions are more concept-based other than calculations

thank you for the response ari and manish

so I will study ideal gases. what do you think about partial pressure? shall I go through it as well?

      hey @community_x7qznh

sorry for taking your time but I am also confused if we are expected to study enthalpy and partial pressure of gases.

      thank you in advance
