    Given that 2 logbase10(x) – 3 = logbase10 (y)

    Express y in terms of x.

    A. y = (x^2)/1000

    B. y = (2x)/1000

    C. y = (x^2)/3

    D. y = (x^2) – 3

    E. y = (2x)/3

    For this question, you should remember the formulae of Logs, that is- (All have base 10)

    b log(a)= log(a)^b

    log a – log b = log(a/b)

    log a= x => a= 10^x

    Put the values and you will get the required solution.
